MLB 10: The Show recieves second patch
SCEA has announced that a second patch for MLB 10: The Show will be released tomorrow. It is likely the patch is a response to community complaints regarding Franchise Mode and freezes online.

- Fixed issue with the auto-fix feature in rosters not working correctly all the time when a downloaded roster was used.
- Fixed issue to accurately show the number of games in progress when looking at the game/lobby room list.
- Fixed issue causing players placed on trade waivers to not be withdrawn if claimed by a user controlled team (offline season).
- Fixed issues with attendance.
- Make sure players placed on release waivers retain their contracts until they clear waivers.
- Allow teams to send down a reliever and keep 2 closers on the roster.
- Only allow the CPU to trade a player once per season.
- Unranked Online Games should not count towards points, win/loss nor stats.
- Fixed issue causing trades to be offered by the user’s team even when set to MANUAL trades.
- Fix catcher throw decisions when AUTOTHROWING is on
- Create a player gets additional stances/deliveries
- Scout challenge from certain locations addressed.
- Intentional walk Online gameplay issue addressed.
- Merged Sounds of the show fix. Fix for overflow problem when storing more than 255 songs. This is referring to storing the songs in a playlist.
- Exiting chatroom fix after completing the game.
- Fixed bug with ball warping into fielder’s glove from the outfield on a line drive.
- Fix exiting Bullpen issue.
- Addressed issue with large attendance numbers being displayed properly.
- Fixed bug causing position players to be in the bullpen leading to an issue in franchise and career mode.

THEY NEED TO PATCH THE COMEBACK ISSUE.
EVERY SINGLE GAME, IF I LEAD THE GAME, AROUND 5 OR 6TH INNING MY FIELDER ERROR RATIO RISES, THE CPU BATTERS ALWAYS GET HOLES OR HITS NEAR LINES, AND THEY GET THE HOME RUN THEY COULD NOT ACHEIVE IN 5 INNNINGS. AND DONT CALL IT LACK OF FOCUS, CUZ IF IM NOT LEADING THE GAME, THE CPU DONT GET HOLES, OR SUPER HITS, NOR MY FIELDERS COLLECT A TON OF ERRORS. I DONT CARE IF SCEA SAYS THERE IS NO CPU COMEBACK ROUTINE, CUZ I SEE THE COMEBACKS, I SEE A LOT OF DETAILS THAT GET ME THINKING "OK HERE WE ARE" AND A LOT OF PPL IS COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS, AND ALWAYS IN 5TH OR 6TH INNING. THE SHOW 09 FEATURED SUCH A COMEBACK, AND IT WAS AN OPTION U COULD TURN OFF. I HAVE THE SENSATION THE SHOW 2010 STILL FEATURES THE CPU COMEBACK BUT THERE IS NO OPTION TO TURN IT OFF. HOW SILLY IS PITCHING GOOD AGAINST A RELIEF PITCHER BATTING AS ALBERT PUJOLS? HOW DAMN STUPID IS LEADING A GAME, GETTING TO 6TH INNING WITH NO ERRORS AND GETTING 4 FIELDING ERROR IN A SINGLE INNING?
SCEA CAN CLAIM THERE IS NO CPU COMEBACK TILL THEY R BLUE IN THE FACE, BUT STILL THE GAME FEATURES A STUPID CPU COMEBACK. AS SOON THE CPU TIED THE SCORE OR TOOK THE LEAD, IT WILL SUCK AGAIN, AND I DONT GET ERRORS FIELDING. PATCH THIS SHIT, CUZ ITS IRRITATING. IM NOT GONNA CRY FOR A LOSS, BUT I GET IRRITATED BEING ROBBED. SCEA MOVE YOUR FAT ASS AND PATCH.
I noticed since lateset patch that once the game starts I loose all commentating. whent through and deleted all old game data and patches reapplied everything and the issue still exists. Any other ideas to fix would be appretiated .
Did they fix the AUDIO glitch in riverly mode? Where the announcing CUTS OUT and does not come back so that we are left in silence for the second half of the game?
It seems like many things are being addressed. I still have one problem, with Franchise. Big name players are being waived, released or traded for crap 2 or 3 times in the first week of May. For instance, Boston traded David Ortiz AND Jon Lester to K.C. for 2 C-potential minor leaguers and 1 D-potential minor leaguer. The next day KC trades Ortiz and another A-potential minor leaguer to Texas for 1 C-potential minor leaguer. The next day Texas waives the rights for Ortiz. Adam Dunn was even traded to Seattle for 3 D-potential minor leaguers. For some reason, I just don't think this issue was fixed.
I agree with Rich. I feel so ripped off after playing this buggy game This game has more bugs than any other console game I've ever played. I wouldn't even care except that this game COULD be one of the best sports game, if not THE best sports game, ever made!!! BUT it crashes 1 out of 2 times I play it so it's almost worthless to me until they fix these issues
fix the god damn freezing in online and franchise mode...this is BS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or give me half my money back until your developers are back from vacation since i can only play half the Fucking game
