Metal Gear Solid 4 hitting Playstation Network

1Up is reporting that the Tokyo Game Show demo of Metal Gear Solid 4 will be hitting the PlayStation Network in the future. Sadly, no exact date was given on the demo’s arrival for download. So Metal Gear fans you will soon have a chance to try out Snake in his latest title on the PS3.

UPDATE: Turns out there was a lil’ Lost in Translation when 1UP Japan fed us the details on the MGS4 demo, as we’ve since cleared up the real deal: Kojima Productions would like to release the show floor demo, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will actually appear over PSN…or at all. Yeah, we realize that’s a bummer — and accept our lashings — but it was a communication error.
