Medal of Honor demo in pipeline says EA’s Greg Godrich

Why-Medal-Of-Honor-Could-Go-Where-Modern-Warfare-Didnt-But-Probably-Wont

You’ve all read my review of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, right? Well, you really should. I did go to an awful lot of trouble to write that for you, you know…

Developed by Swedish studio DICE, Electronic Arts’ latest FPS has proven extremely popular since its release earlier this month, offering a strategic alternative to Infinity Ward’s twitch shooter Modern Warfare 2. But even so, EA is already hard at work producing its next title, Medal of Honor – the first contemporary instalment in an otherwise World War II-centric franchise.

GameTrailers recently spoke to Executive Producer Greg Godrich, who hinted that a demo will materialise prior to the full game’s launch in autumn this year, though specific details regarding platform and format were not disclosed. You can watch the alluded-to interview here, courtesy of Deutsch site Cynamite.

Personally, I’ve loved every second of B:BC2 – particularly online, and having learned that DICE has been commissioned especially to construct MoH’s multiplayer element, I am confident EA is on to another winner here.

  1. They’re better not mess this up. Gonna be pissed off if they do a poor job. MOH games were amazing.
