Master Chief NOT coming to PS3
If you’re planning on paying N4G a cursory visit sometime today, you’ll no doubt see this post by The Independent headlining that Master Chief, the iconic protagonist of Xbox 360’s Halo universe, has made his debut on PlayStation 3. Do not be mislead! Halo is not going multiplatform.
In actuality, as the article eventually explains, Mr Chief is now the star of Halo Legends, a newly-released collection of high-quality anime cartoons available on DVD and (here it comes) “PS3-compatible Blu-ray”.
Bit of an anti-climax? Not really. I’m no fanboy, but I’ve survived thus far without having played the Xbox-exclusive sci-fi shooter, and I’m fairly confident I shall live a long and fulfilled life if I never get around to it.
Like oil and water, Halo and PlayStation do not mix. That being said, should Satan suddenly decide to dust off his skis in preparation for his commute to the office I'll happily retract that statement.

I have both systems too, and I think halo 1 (i played it in PC) and 2 (xbox) were awesome games, marked a new era in shooters for me, i enjoyed them a lot, but it's true that halo 3 was not just "more of the same", it wasn't as good as its predecesors too. I gave it a 7.5, but I think if i wouldn't have been a Halo fan when it came out, I would have given it a 6. seriusly, the real action began almost at the half of the game, the multiplayer is good, but not as good as Call of duty series. When Halo 3 ODST (O MY GOD! MORE HALO3?) came i didn't take care of play it, neither for rent. In the other hand, I'm happier with the PS3 franchises like uncharted, killzone 2 and the ratchet&clank series keep their goods and re-playability, MGS 4 was awesome too, I'm replaying it today and i'm still impressed by its graphics and the heart put in it. I'm not the only one thinking this, seriusly, The point is, Halo is the only ace from microsoft (see, they spent a lot of money in games like "too homan" which was a real piece of crap) And today, HALO IS NOT "IN" ANYMORE , Only those stupid fanboys I would swear they're paid by microsoft to create hype araound halo think halo is wow, but anybody with a little of self-thinking will agree with.

Ah, the ps3 fanboys who have to slam everything not ps3 (with really bad syntax no less). I own both systems,always have and always will. Both systems have fantastic franchises that are unique. For the 360 Halo is probably the most famous and rightly so. It's ONE OF the (not THE) best shooters ever. And if you really think just jumping and shooting is going to keep you alive then you haven't played the game for more than 5 minutes. It also has the best soundtrack of any game period. That being said the ps3 has Uncharted which has certainly set a new standard along with Demon Souls and the upcoming God Of War. Bottom line? It's All Good.
I got the first one for PC, played the second and third ones but, they are all really the same games, just with different levels. And if you ever want to become a pro at Halo online, just keep jumping and shooting and you will never die.

if I honest I played it at my mates and it is really shit! seriously could it get any more repetitive!
I used to have a xbox to PS2 adapter and used my PS2 controller to play halo with my friends back when halo 2 had come out but we played halo 1 more because it's the only good halo game out.
