Massive Action Game, the imaginatively titled action game of massive proportions, was shown off at E3 today. They played a video showing huge battlefields, bases bombs and vehicles.
The game will support 256 players in online squad-based battles, that will stretch the limits of the PS3’s architecture.
They also say that it is not possible on any other console. You know what? With 256 players online in hugs maps full of bombs, bases and vehicles, we can believe that.

When I was watching E3 live that final announcement brought a tear to my eye lol, microsoft can shove final fantasy were the sun dont shine im happy with this.
Im guessing sony will put ALOT of money into this for dedicated servers and what not so should be fantastic and lag free.
Sweet, this will be the first time anyone has simulated such extensive frontline battles without the use of A.I.
Ps3 to Crapbox “check mate”
cant wait for this i hope your squad will listen to you
i hope its not like warhawk
Even though it seems unlikely, I wonder if MAG will support the in-game XMB custom soundtracks system.
Ive watched an interview on this and he touches on the ongoing campaigns, I think these battles will be like a sort of MMO were you can just drop into a battle at any time, this means the battles will have real scale timelines to go with the massive scales so there could be games going on for days. I really cant wait, and @ Intel-Qube I cant imagine it having in game XMB never mind custom sound tracks, if its straining the PS3 playing your own music would probably push it over the edge and make it blow up lol
