LittleBigPlanet Gets a 'Level Pack'

It's been confirmed on the Official SCEA Blog that LBP will be getting a level pack this week on the US store. The pack will cost $2.99, and will feature a few things:

  • Two new Costumes – Christmas Tree headpiece and a Wrapped Sackboy [Pictured Below].
  • One new Create Material = Wrapping Paper (cardboard w/ giftwrap texture).
  • Two new Objects = A Festive Sleigh and holiday themed light.
  • Six new Decorations = A Festive Bauble, Bell, Wrapping Bow, Candy Cane, Card and Stocking.
  • A ton of new Stickers = holiday themed of course, including a Red Nose Reindeer, Elves, Turkey images and many more.

There is currently no word on whether this will hit the EU this week and, since it's festive, it'll only be available until the 8th of January, so you'd better get it before then if you want it.

I assume THEY called it a level pack because it has things that are useful for levels. I thought the same thing, to be honest.

Great stuff - if they keep trickling these little tid-bits I'll be a happy boy...then again I havent actually played it for two weeks, but I think it may be time to dip back in.

One question - how is this a 'level pack'?? Or have you just not mentioned the fact that it includes a couple of new levels? :)
