LinkedIn job vacancy confirms Dead Space Sequel

A few weeks ago, IGN writer Jimmy Thang reported that Glenn Schofield, EA Redwood Shores General Manager and Dead Space Executive Producer, indirectly hinted a sequel to Dead Space was on the cards. Strangely enough, some remain unconvinced.
Well this ‘some’ might be interested to know that, earlier this evening, I received a mail from a devoted PS3Vault fan containing a link to a LinkedIn job vacancy, posted November 13th 2009. The vacancy seeks a Senior Online Level Designer to work on the Dead Space Franchise for Xbox and PS3.
Could this be further proof that a Dead Space 2 will materialise? Considering the use of the term ‘Franchise’, a brand name under which a series of products (not one sole product) is released, I’m inclined to say yes. Quite probably.
Besides, the word ‘sequel’ in the Company Description paragraph is a bit of a giveaway…
