LBP PS Store Update

You’ll no doubt have seen the Metacritic scores for LBP we posted about recently. Media Molecule’s magum opus continues to amaze with every play, and the expansion support shows no signs of slowing. Check out the PS store for new goodies…

Available on the store today you’ll find a bunch of new outfits for your sackboy or girl. Following their previous policy, one the outfits is free and the others you’ll have to fork out your hard earned cash for. So, what’s on offer this week?

A good little selection I think you’ll agree. From the choices above the “Sack-eating Plant” can be yours for FREE, and the others will set you back between $0.99 and $1.99. Alternatively you can buy the animals costume pack for $2.99.

I’ve always had mixed feelings about the micro payment system for DLC. Paying seemingly small amounts for extra content has never really appealed (I’m looking at you – PAIN). But with LBP I can’t help myself. Such is Sackboy’s ability to warm my icy gamer’s heart that I may start equiping him with the latest duds. How about you guys out there? Anyone buying the costumes?

  1. I’ll admit it… I have a weak spot for getting these.

Though it would be nicer if there a great level of customisation in the object themselves, such as different colour variants.

And I bet, after a few months, all these will probably end up costing more than the game itself did. =P

  2. Yeah, I’ve got some kinda craving for getting my hands on the latest LBP equipment as soon as possible.
Yes, I was one of those idiots/fanatics who decided to fork out £3.99 on the week 1 t-shirt, but I feel special to be part of a select group that own it! :)

Michael O’Connor – I totally agree with you (I’ve already spent £3.99 + £2.49 for the animal pack, and there’s bound to be shitloads more costumes I pick up!
