Amazon has announced through multiple customer service representatives, that they will be selling the PS3 today. Although in the past, most of the information i received was sketchy at best, I believe that they might come through for their hardcore fans who have been stalking the PS3 discussion board at amazon.com. If you don’t mind stalking the amazon webpage like a horny teenager in heat, then this might be the last chance to score one for retail price without bundles attached. Keep in mind that ToysRus sold out in under 1 minute, so sign up for an amazon account and add the credit card to make the process that much quicker. Remember every second counts. Well… what are you waiting for? GOO!!!
P.S. Don’t rely on Amazon’s email alerts as they did not send out an alert for their 20gb models.

Amazon will not be offering the PS3 (60GB or 20GB) for sale within the next week. We continue to work with Sony to secure future allocations and we will update everyone in advance via email, discussion board post and detail page update (where it currently says “Attention: we are currently out of stock…”) when we have a specific date we can communicate.
Other partners (Target, J&R, etc.) who sell on Amazon may have the PS3 for sale on our site and we are working with all of our partners to gather what information they can share so we can communicate it to our customers.
Again, I apologize, but Amazon will not be offering the PS3 (60GB or 20GB) for sale this week.
