. Blade Runner, I Am Legend and many, many more! Koei’s PS3 Exclusive Titles gone Multiformat
Koei has recently made an announcement that previously assumed PS3 exclusive titles will be available for Xbox 360 as well.
Blade Storm: The Hundred Years” War is similar in nature to Koei?s popular Dynasty Warriors series but with a European setting, while futuristic race game Fatal Inertia is the first title to be developed by Koei Canada ? the studio set up by Koei specifically to create titles more focused towards Western gamers.
Both games are currently scheduled to be launch titles for the PlayStation 3 in Europe next March, but no announcement has been made concerning the release dates of the Xbox 360 versions.
This trend is more likely to happen as more companies trying to recoup the development cost by releasing their games in multiformat. Perfect example will be the next Grand Theft Auto. The developer of GTA had made an announcement on their website stating multiformat release although it was rumored to be PS3 exclusive. For years Sony held the #1 spot for having the most exclusive titles. Seems like PS3 will be “competing”.
