“Playsation’s Official Magazine has publicized the latest and greatest rumor: Killzone 3 is in development and will release sometime in 2010. In the latest issue, they call it one of Sony’s “secret games of 2010″?. According to the same publication, Killzone 3 is “deep into development” and will hit the shelves sometime within the next year.”

The reason that Killzone 3 could in fact be released in such a short amount of time apposed to Killzone 2’s five year development time is that the engine and multiplayer component have already been established and the game can just be built off of that.

However the Killzone 3 rumor is not alone, following that was the statement that already in the works are a sequel to Call of duty: World at war and another installment in the Resistance series.
