Everyone loves delays, don’t they?

It saddens us to tell you that Killzone 2 has officially been delayed until February of 2009. During the speeches today at PlayStation’s event in London, it was announced that Killzone 2 will be pushed back to 2009.

Despite this, Sony showed new footage of the game, and a playable version of the title was made available to media.

With Killzone 2 being a flagship title for the PlayStation 3, this is obviously a big blow to their 2008 line-up. However, fans shouldn’t worry; LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2 and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift are still on track for this year., and if that’s not enough to satisfy your interests until Killzone 2’s release, nothing will!
