Killzone 2 Glitchers, Beware

Tag: Beware, Glitchers, Killzone 2, Killzone 2, Playstation Network

Do you like to wreck people's fun? Do you like to exploit glitches and bugs in game for your own personal cyber-benefit? Well, you probably do this in Killzone 2, then. However, we recommend that you stop because, if not just for your immortal soul or to avoid the pineapples of hell, for your PSN ID. Says Killzone's Twitter:

"Glitchers risk losing their PSN ID altogether. We've been quite lenient so far but that's going to change."

There you have it. Now stop it.

Yeah, although I don't like cheaters, it's not their fault that they can't make a game without glitches. Some glitches are just fun to use, maybe not in a ranked game, but definitely with friends. I'd say ban their ID s until that glitch is fixed, or at least give wanring bans like other games. Ban a day for first offense, a week for 2nd, month for 3rd, heck, a year for the 4th. That's actually fair for everyone. I'd hate to know that something I did in a match could be considered a glitch and get banned from PSN. I'd rather just be banned from that game alone.

I was in a game last week where a guy kept lining up scoped shots, but when I shot him he did not budge....I thought I was missing.
Then I snuck up on him and popped him over a rail and his character had no bullet recoil like every other character in the game.
He wheeled around and shot me in the face.
Real classy there Killer... something.
Hope you lose your ID.

Zach, although fixing the glitches would work, people will always look for new glitches to exploit.

I've never played killzone, but as someone who does often play online multiplayer games, I think this is quite a fitting punishment to those who can't play a game well, and need to cheat to further themselves.
