Italian retailers breaking street date for PS3
According to GamesIndustry.biz, retailers across Italy have started selling PS3 two days before the actually street date. We?ve seen many games breaking street date from few US retailers. However, we have not seen widespread of retailers breaking street dates on consoles. Trade Interactive Multimedia, leading publication for Italian retailers, is reporting that a small retail chain started the problem by breaking the street date with advertisement in a national newspaper. The advertisement promised that customers can purchase PS3 at 7pm Wednesday, full two days ahead of the official street date. The other retailers reacted by also breaking the street date. Sony is said to be considering some type of action against these retailers.

Hope Sony comes down on them like a thunder!! Sony will most likely to impose some fines if they choose to do so.
