In Game XMB is Coming

Tag: Console news, Playstation Network, Software Updates

In a recent Game Informer interview, Peter Dille, Sony's Senior VP of Marketing, spoke about a number of issues regarding the PlayStation 3. The most salient topic that you all want to hear about is the In Game XMB.

While responding to a question about firmware updates, Dille started discussing the XMB:

"As far as in-game XMB access, we know it's a feature that's important to our consumers. Because PS3 packs so much advanced technology 'under the hood,' it takes some time to implement major, new functionalities, but we are working hard on addressing this feature, as well as continually expand the capabilities and functionalities of PS3."

So, the good news is Sony has listened to its owners and is working on In Game XMB. The bad news, we don't know when we'll get it. We'll keep you up to date as we know more.

These are all lies from Sony it is 2009 Almost Feb 2009 and still we don't have XMB in our games for HOME to that to me is Ridiculous coming from Sony! Or should I repeat myself again Phony Entertainment Of America!
I spent so much money on the PS3 that its not one bit funny anymore! I'm thinking of buying a Xbox360 because of Sony's lack of communication to its PS3 fans! I'm guessing there either being slackers because we have yet to even get 2.54 out!.. Screw Firmware updates when there worthless for XMB etc..
