Hideo Kojima releases English audioblog
With recent spur of interest in Hideo Kojima’s personal blog, fans will now able to listen to his audioblog in enlgish. Ryan Payton, international manager for Kojima Productions, will translate summary Kojima’s Japanese-language online radio program (called “Hidechan”) to english. The english version of Kojima’s audioblog will be available on a regular basis at his web site.
The audioblog, which will be known as the Kojima Productions Report, will summarize Kojima’s Japanese-language online radio program (called “Hidechan”) and offer commentary from staff and special guests. Host Payton is an international manager for Kojima Productions.
In the maiden audioblog, Payton recalls in English Kojima’s Hidechan practice of reading and commenting on fanmail. One fan asked Kojima how he dealt with stress. Kojima responded, “I guess you can say I’m like the covert unit from Snake Eater, specifically The Fury and maybe The Sorrow. In meetings and interviews, I speak out frankly and honestly, and that helps me relieve a little bit of stress.”
