Haze Delayed (Shockingly)

Haze, one of the main FPS games that everyone’s looking forward to has been delayed again, now said to be released during Ubisoft’s 2008-2009 fiscal year (which starts in April).
I’m sure no-one expected this, Haze, the much-delayed PS3 exclusive, delayed!? Well, I’m afraid it’s true, so we can just look forward to one of the 2000 other FPS’s that are bound to come out this year (Killzone 2, for example), or we could look forward to something original.
Anyway, I think I speak for everyone when I say - Haze had better be worth the bloody wait.

Tried a near complete build at a electronic show.. It’s pretty decent.. Graphics etc.. Although the close range (melee) seem to frustratingly hard to execute..
looked to be a pretty steady 30 fps+..
However the splitscreen was at that point I tried it, really sluggish.. We tried it over lan as well, and it ran fine..
we’ll see.. It was a decent experience.
I’ve only seen trailers, and the early play through with the developer on TV, but I’ve got to say, not a single thing about yet has made me think “cool!”. Just seems like a couple of gimmicks strung together by hackneyed side-switching story and distinctly average graphics…using a rather blatant Halo aesthetic “People like distinctive helmets!!! And short words beginning with ‘H’!!! Give them what they want dammit!”..ahh market research.
…I bet you guys will be quoting this to me when the thing becomes the next Half Life.
