Hacking in Black Ops will not be tolerated
It’s fair to say that hack prevention isn’t exactly Infinity Ward’s forte. The developer’s hugely-popular FPS Modern Warfare 2 has been exploited to the nth degree since it launched almost a year ago. We’ve stumbled into modded lobbies, we’ve witnessed players geo-glitching – we’ve even played the hidden multiplayer mode Global Thermonuclear War, and the game’s online leaderboards are crammed with unattainable kill/death ratios, ridiculous high scores and page after page of falsely-earned level 70 10th Prestige ranks.
With Call of Duty: Black Ops fast approaching, the CoD community is rightfully worried that history might repeat itself. Not on Josh Olin’s watch...
As per a recent tweet by Treyarch’s Community Manager, the game’s leaderboards will be moderated, and players caught hacking will be banned from online multiplayer:
Expect no sympathy. Expect no leniency. The Second Chance perk won’t work here; try to cheat the system and you’ll pay the price. Don’t say he didn’t warn you...

You have a gift of writing good articles, attention grabbing content. I myself am a blogger and want to improve this slowly too.
so long as there's game, there'll be hack.
Move on..nothing to see here..just marketing lies.
I don't think clan hacks do any harm either Grey, though hacking's hacking I guess from Treyarch's point of view. My advice would be leave everything alone :)
Does this include Clan Tag hacks? I mean it's technically a hack but, you don't get any advantage from it whatsoever. It's just putting in characters that aren't normally available. What do you think?
ah yes another community free-for-all and no body expects
cheating little dweebs that have and will not do anything else
with their pathetic little dweeb life, other than knock up the poor
little dweeb girl friend and when they get off couch go and
stand in line for welfare . You have got to them them a break !
