Yamauchi, the leader  at Polyphony Digital, has just announced that their much anticipated game, Gran Turismo 5, is using “about 80 percent of the processing power” that the PlayStation 3 is capable of, and also said, “The PS3 hardware has a very high peak performance. The better you manipulate it, the better it performs.” But I really do doubt that he actually knows the PS3 is using 80 percent of its potential power, and I’m sure he is just guessing/estimating. And I do hope that he doesn’t feel he must reach the full 100 percent of its capacity before the launching GT5 or else we probably won’t see this game anytime soon.
