God of War 1 and 2 coming to Blu-Ray
If you missed out on the God of War series so far, you should be happy to hear that you’ll get a chance to play through them this holiday season in glorious HD. That’s right people, both God of War games will be available on a single Blu-Ray disk at 1280 x 720 resolution. But that’s not all folks, the games will now feature trophy support, which means that you will be all the more rewarded for decapitating and brutalizing the minions of the Greek God’s. And all running at 60 frames per second. Beautiful.

This Blu-ray Disc compilation brings Kratos to PS3 even earlier than expected.”
If you haven’t already played through GoW 1 and 2, this collection will give you a chance to play one of most popular games from the PS2 on your PS3, with upgraded graphics and trophy support. And if you still own the games, for a mere $39.99 USD, you can re-experience the epic journey of Kratos in HD. Now that’s a good deal.

I am SO excited!!! I have been DESPERATELY trying to sell my ps3 80 so that I can add ADDITIONAL money to the price to buy a backwards compatible PS3, just to play GOW 1 and 2! I feel so stupid now!
I have been watching all of the GOW interviews and the producers kept saying that making those two games playable on the ps3 was not in the works. I guess the fans have spoken.
The week I beat it on the PSP, I was hooked and I spent 45.00 buying GOW1 and GOW2 for the ps2.
