Our friend over at Joystiq reports that
“When TeamXbox forum member oltranzista pre-ordered two copies of Perfect Dark Zero from Blockbuster, the last thing he expected was to be insulted for doing so. Instead, when he decided to change his pre-order (due to the store being out of stock) and purchase a Hard Drive for his Xbox 360 he was insulted by the manager. Not directly mind you, but via a receipt.”

Any comments folks?
first of all, i work for blockbuster. and this is not a reciept, it is a printout of the customers history. these histories are not to be given to customers. that is the persons only mistake. we put those comments to alert other employees in the store and at other stores when some customers do things that seem shady. people pull crap to get us to give them free stuff all the time, and it makes us as employees look really bad. we can even get fired if it happens enough. without these comments, we can’t keep track of when customers pull this crap, so then we can never put a stop to it. yes she could have chosen other words, but with how many websites there are out ther on how to “scam the system” and things like that, we have to protect our asses. plus it is MANDATORY to leave comment after every credit.
I worked at hollywood video and we put the same kinds of notes on customers account ditto to the comment above ^^
