Firmware 3.01 Has Arrived

Firmware 3.01 is live, and optional. To install, or not to install?
At present, is it not known whether all grievances regarding Firmware 3.0 have been addressed in this discretionary new patch, but we are hopeful that system stability has now been restored to the PS3. If in-game freezing and controller malfunction issues have been resolved, then we are happy.
For what it’s worth, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune seems – thus far – to be running smoothly again…

well that’s a bonus straight away
now if Sony could only fix almost everything that they broke with FW 3.00 that would be wonderful haha

I don’t think they fixed it, because last night after playing LBP my game froze, then my controller refused to sync up, even when it was connected via usb. It was very annoying.
