Firmware 2.41 available now
Following news from the Official Playstation Blog and others, the awaited update to firmware 2.40 is now available for download. This is Sony's response to a number, albeit limited, of complaints from owners whose XMB refused to reappear after installing the original 2.40.
Early reports from downloaders indicate that all seems to be well in the land of XMB, in fact some say it runs a little smoother. All that would be nice now is a detailed list of all the games that support Trophies. Have you taken the plunge yet? Have you got 2.40 already? Let us know, remember, it's good to share.

I'm still waiting on the ability to play custom playlists during games. I can understand why not for PS3 games disk and downloadable do to limited RAM, but not even PSX or PS2 games, they don't even get in-game XMB.
No matter what update, I always get disconnected due to a network error.
I got 2.4 right at midnight and have not had a problem with it but I got 2.41 just in case!
I can't wait until some games get patched for trophies like MGS4 and Battlefield and Assassins creed.
No lies, since the original 2.4 I have not made it through a full hot shots golf tourney without being disconnected due to a "network error", but all my other games work fine. Hopefully this solves the problem
my friends all had issues with 2.4... some of them even claimed that the internet connections seemed weaker and laggier
iv had it since 2.40 came out and my ps3's been perfect
just wish infinity ward would patch cod4
