FFXIII release date announcement “in a few weeks”

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has stated in a recent Tokyo Q&A session with IT Media that a release date for FFXIII will be announced in the next few weeks.
“We’ll be making an announcement in a few weeks,” said Wada.
It should be noted that the Tokyo Game Show is also “in a few weeks”, so we can pretty much expect to hear this announced there. It’s already know that the game will be be at the event, in some form.
FFXIII will hits Japan on PS3 this winter, and the US on PS3 and 360 in sometime next spring.

Haha, I love the fact that games on such a large scale literally have to announce that they’ll announce the release date soon. :p
