FFXIII is ‘Going Favourably’ for 09 Release

…In Japan, of course. The Japanese PS3 version only, unfortunately, the other versions will follow later (i.e. probably not 2009). The director and writer of the game, Motomu Toriyama, told Famitsu that ‘Development is going favourable for the 2009 launch’.

So gay. Fuck japan, there are more ps3’s in the US and europe, yet youre going to release the game where buying potential is less. Maybe thats why this system is shitting the bed. What a business/marketing strategy sony has.

So yeah, thanks sony, for shitting on your customers. Whats next, selling GOW3 over to the 360 and screwing your console completely?

They’re not releasing it outside of Japan yet because it is yet to be translated into English – so they CAN’T.

I don’t see why gamers keep complaining about japanese games being released in Japan first. I mean, what’s don’t you guys get. The game was made in Japanese by Japanese developers. There are no reasons for them to hold the game back and wait for translation when the game is already ready for release in Japan. There are plenty of English games that are released in NA and then later in other contries. If English speaking gamers want to play RPGs first hand, then get english game developers to work on RPGs once in a while insead of all the sports games.
