Feature: Two Steps from Hell is a wasted opportunity

I'm not going to sugar-coat it, I really enjoy Two Steps from Hell. I enjoy them so much in fact, that I would love to see them score a video game. Two Steps from Hell has been featured in some of the best trailers in recent years, however not one company has fully utilized them to their potential. This seems like a no-brainer to me, and seeing as their music seemingly covers every tangible emotion to mankind; I'm shocked no one has had them score their game.

I wanted to take this opportunity to suggest some games that Two Steps from Hell should score. This is a brief sample of the potential I see, and I hope you enjoy. To view my suggestions hit the break, and remember to let us know what you think in the comment section.

Despite not being officially unveiled, Uncharted 3 is my most anticipated game.  When I picture the music Uncharted 3, I hear this:

Heck, why not throw Atlantis in for good measure.

I was a fan of NIER, and if they ever decided to do a sequel I think Two Steps from Hell could fit. Here's a sample of direction I think they should take:

Despite being one of the best RPG's on the PlayStation 3, Folklore will most likely never have a sequel. That's a shame because it's truly a gem, and this next track fits wonderfully in the Folklore universe:

Just give us a sequel!

They won't score an entire game or movie, as that requires and entirely different skill set, and range. I'm certain they have had offers to do such, but it would not be as profitable for them to do so, as it would then require their 100% undivided attention, and as it is now, they can hammer out, say, 30-50 projects in a year or so, vs just one. They have quite literally cornered a market.

Yeah Two Steps From Hell make amazing music and I think would make the right videogame very appealing. Maybe game developers dont think theyre games are Epic enough to delight gamers with theyre fantastic music... shame

That was actually one of the reasons why I decided to write an article. They do a lot of music for trailers, but haven't composed a game.

Two Steps From Hell performed the score for the Mass Effect 2 launch trailer. It's called 'Heart of Courage' if you're interested in listening.
