Fat Princess has been dated and priced, and we’re now looking forward to this week’s store update. The game will release this Thursday all over the world. That’s 3 days. It’s going to cost you $15 if you’re American, and, whilst prices in other regions haven’t been confirmed, it’s probably around £10 and €15 if previous price conversions are to be expected. Which they probably are.

In case you aren’t already aware and bouncing about in your seats in anticipation, we’ll (try to) explain the premise. Fat Princess is a capture the flag game but, instead of a flag, you have a Princess. The Princess starts off the match thin and, to make her fatter and, therefore, harder (read: slower) for the other team to transport to their castle, you feed her cake.

[Warning: Terrible reference/pun coming up] So, let’s hope that the cake is not a lie so we can get into some cake-feeding, cartoon-stabbing action on Thursday. I’ll see you in my castle or over it’s walls, eh?
