European PS3 launch welcomed by developers
Major game publishers and developers are showing their full support for the Sony PS3 ahead of March European launch. GameINdustry.biz has managed to get some comments from various industry heavy hitters around the Europe. Adam Roberts, Media Director for Vivendi Northern Europe, is said to be excited over the PS3 launch plans. Also, he is excited to bring much anticipated PC hit, F.E.A.R, to the new platform. Square Enix CEO, John Yamamoto, is said to be excited to bring two brand new Final Fantasy games to PS3. Yamamoto commented on utilizing full power of PS3 hardware prowess to bring highly detailed graphics in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Ubisoft?s UK managing director Rob Cooper has said Ubisoft is excited to bring four launch titles to the European launch. The games include Blazing Angels, Enchanted Arms, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and Oblivion. Even though Konami is not releasing any launch titles, they are excited about the prospect of releasing MGS 4. PS3 is still slated to launch on March 23.
