Error Code [80022A07], anyone? Just install Firmware 3.10
Firmware 3.10 went live earlier today, bringing with it Facebook integration facilities, a colour palette for your gamercard, and a more convenient way to view and manage pictures and photographs. However, nothing was mentioned about the return of error code [80022A07].
For anyone who has yet to encounter error code [80022A07], this alphanumeric nuisance signifies a trophy synchronisation failure, and prevents you from accessing your profile. Aside from being mildly annoying, this error immediately makes it impossible to change the colour of your gamercard. So that’s one new feature out the window until the issue is resolved.
Thankfully not everyone is experiencing the problems we are, as per the Official PlayStation Forums, but hopefully the powers that be will sort this out before we dust off the hammer.

This problem was happening for me before 3.10 was released. It started right about when Modern Warfare 2 came out.
True, but wasn’t that specific to MW2, not trophies in general?
Same here MW2 time f$&! Up trophy sync after the update I tried again by clicking my gamer card and same problem occured but then I went under game and pressed triangle under trophy and chose to syncronize and it worked! Then of course I proceded to change my color on my gamer card to a nice black lol. Don’t really care for facebook, I would have prefered Twitter integration but hopefully next update….

Am I the only one who had this problem before the update. It started happening approximately a week before the update. After the firmware update to 3.10 the problem has disappeared.
Maybe the issue is not client side related.
This is so weird. The “sync operation” starts and then once it reaches around 17% i get the “80022A07″ error. I hope they fix this soon!
can someone tell me when the next update is so i can get rid of this error
this error has been happening to me for at least a month and a half now..i’ve just learned to ignore it as it’s not fully important but it would be nice to have it sorted..a month and a half..come on Sony!
I think its mw2 related. I’ve always had this problem from time to time over the years, but I haven’t been able to sync since I installed mw2.
Also, my first install of mw2 didn’t include the trophies. I had to delete the game data and reinstall to get the trophies.
I’m half tempted to delete game data for mw2 just to see if it starts to sync again.
my ps3 is not reading any of my games and none of my movies i had to delete everything off my ps3 because somone said it would delete the latest update ad go back to the latest one but it didnt work does anyone have any ideas
I have this on my EU accounts but not the US, so I am guessing this is a server issue, not a firmware related one.
i get the same error code and i don’t have MW 2 i don’t have a recent game actually i just get that same error code whenever i triy to sync my tropihes and i got it before the update with face book and jazz =[ i need help
i had the same problem last year Alex, my ps3 stopped playing everything. the problems with the blu ray drive and a manufacturer’s fault. mine was a 60g version and after i rang sony they sent me a new one out within 48 hours. my advice is to look in the back of a game manual and give em a bell. make sure you have serial no. of ps3 ready. hope this helps buddy.
re:antman7, i tried synching with the server and the same thing happened – it got to 16% and the errored 80022A07. so now both methods dont work
80022A07 crisis over… its taken two days of trying to sync and it finely worked. hope you all get yours working soon

sounds like your blu-ray disk reader is dead. i am on my third ps3 and each one ive replaced had the same problem. try a dvd or cd and if they work, then it is the blu-ray that is the problem. if your console is still in warranty then sony should replace it with a re-furbished model free of charge(you pay for delivery costs~) but if not they will replace it at a cost of around 150euros. remember and sync your trophies and save any saved games on your pc before you send it away or you’ll lose it all.
Had this problem for about 2 weeks dudes tried everything then my friend said it’s down to busy servers, so I tried 10 mins ago 7-30 GMT and hey presto !, all sorted.
omg this error keeps coming up and when it gets to 15% it stops and the error comes up wot can i do about this

when i installed MW2
when i installed MW2, durin installation an error came up and it reset my ps3 without installing the game data. there after my ps3 wouldn’t read any games and i couldn’t sync my trophies. after insertin a blu ray dvd cleaner to the system it started reading the games again but i still can’t sync my trophies. any suggestions??

Just waaaiiiit… Or try over and over and over till it syncs… It took me 4 tries, and it finally went through

same problem here, iv been trying to sync my trophies since the update it doesn’t matter what time of day/night i try and sync nothing happens, iv tried all of the different methods to try and fix this but still nothing.
its probably me being paranoid or something but ever since the update i haven’t been able to use any of the unlocked weapons iv gained on Battlefield BC either anyone else with this problem?

That really annoying me now, because I’ve just got my first platinum. It has been happening for the past few weeks, Maybe a month but is there anything I can do because whenever I try (morning or evening) it won’t work. It just happened after I got Modern Warfare 2!!!
That has happened aas soon as the First Modern Warfare update came but I can play the games fine.
But this error came to me after i installed 3.10 and i dont have MW2 this is such bullcrap.. im really pissed off i really wanted to change my gamercard color . @#$$
I have the same issue with sync after firmware update. I also bet you can’t click on account management without getting a different error code either. For some reason it seems these errors go hand-in-hand.
Nah, I can access my account management but Facebook is completely absent, and I can’t access my profile.
Me to guys started today after getting some type of update before jumping into s session on modern warfare. Crazy I was still able to see my account info change avatar etc but no trophie info or change the color of my profile display. I did check online at http://www.us.playstation.com/ and was able to see all my info there but not from the unit itself. Blows this ish should be working.
It used to stop at 30% but its dropped to 24% :S

If some of you had this problem wit mw2 i just got dante’s inferno and beaten it and chilled out 4 a few days then when i went 2 play it again it couldn’t load the trophys.
I was not even connected to the internet or even have internet access and the ps3 just wont let me play games because of the trophies error…..it is just annoying because it feels like its a self destruct for the ps3’s…..unless they have a secret internet service or smtn for the ps3s….I DID NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS WHEN THIS SUDDENLY HAPPENED!
