Ebgames/Gamestop surprise PS3 20gig shipments.

Folks, just heard from several inside sources that select Ebgames/Gamestop stores will be selling PS3 20gig this weekend starting Black Friday and will receive sporadic PS3 20gig shipments through end of the year. Very limited quantities are being shipped to select stores across the country. Ebgames/Gamestop have yet to announce that their local stores will be receiving PS3 20 gigs but stated that most likely the PS3 60gig pre orders will be fulfilled before Christmas.

Thanks for the tip. I just got mine at EB. There were 4 units there, we were 3rd in line. They also had Wiis but only 2, which I thought was odd.

Great tip! I went to the Houston Galleria mall at 4:30am and got on line. I was the 6 person but the other 5 were waiting for the Nintendo Wii. I was the first PS3 person and the store got 2! Hooray!

I can confirm that! I was in line for about 10 minutes to return a game and when I was about 2nd from the cashier, the manager told the store he just got in 2. I bought the first, the other was bought right after me. This might be what it takes for people to get one; right place, right time. Start working that Good Karma or Lady Luck, which ever you prefer!

My wife just got home from Target.
She was told they would not get any more shipments until March of 2007. I hope this isn’t true of other chains as well. We have a 60gig on preorder from Toys-r-Us and they got no 60s.
