According to official announcement made by Ebay, around 15,000 PS3s were sold the week of Sony”s the most anticipated video game console. The auction price hovered around $1200 per each unit, nearly twice as much as the retail cost of 60gig version. Furthermore, Ebay also stated that around 25,000 Wii units were sold at around $415 which is moderately more than the retail cost but not as much price fluctuation as PS3 60gig version. If around 200,000 PS3 units were shipped to U.S and majority of people are willing to make quick profits, numbers are not that staggering in the week of the PS3 release. We are in to second week of the PS3 debut and the price of the PS3 is declining sharply as there are more sellers than buyers. This situation will create favorable buying term for people this Christmas.
