In a brief but to the point press release, Electronic Arts has announced they will continue to support Tiger Woods, the eponymous leader of their golfing franchise.

""Our strong relationship with Tiger for more than a decade remains unchanged. We respect Tiger's privacy, we wish him a fast recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on the golf course," the company said in a statement."Personally, we think Tiger is a scumbag. With two little kids at home, he cheats on his gorgeous wife (though fidelity should not be limited to the attractive or those with kids) and not just once but with many women over many years. Some have argued that his personal life should not be part of his professional life, that what happens in his marriage is his own business. But given that his image is what sells so many products, isn't his image, both personal and professional, what sponsors are buying and consumers are reacting to?
