EA Dropping Online Support For More Games

EA is once again dropping support for a few online games. I would be surprised if any people still played these games online however, it's still sad to see them go. All servers will be closed on March 16th 2010.

The following titles will be affected:

  • Def Jam ICON – PS3 and Xbox 360
  • The Godfather – PS3 and Xbox 360
  • The Simpsons Game – PS3 and Xbox 360
  • The Lord of the Rings: Conquest – PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
  • Mercenaries 2 – PC
  • NFS ProStreet – PSP
  • NFS Carbon – PSP

Stonker99 . I would of thought so how else would they know what games to drop (pull them out of a hat)

Do you think they actually research with the players of these games? It would be nice to know that they actually try and get a headcount or something before making these decisions.
