Yesterday, Capcom announced tha an the OST for DMC4 will be released on February 28th in Japan for ¥ 3,990 (US$ 37.50).

Although OST (Original Soundtracks) for video games aren’t exactly anything new, especially not in Japan, this comes as something as a surprise; an OST for the the previous DMC game was only released after fans eagerly prodded,encourage and bugged Capcom to actually release one.

The Devil May Cry 4 OST will a three disc box set featuring over 104 music tracks taken straight from the game, and a 20 page booklet featuring lyrics, commentary from the composers, and notes from the development staff of the game.

Sadly (and not surprisingly, to be honest) plans to release the DMC4 OST in the US or Europe haven’t been announced, but it should be easily available to buy in specialist imports stores shortly after release.
