Alright all of those in Europe – Dead Space for the PS3 and Xbox 360 has been moved up to October 24, 2008 so start saving your euros and days off; you’ll need them sooner than originally thought. The highly anticipated Survival Horror title was supposed to appear on Halloween, October 31st which has been maintained as the PC release date.

In Dead Space, you play space engineer Issac Clarke, a member of the Concordance Extraction Corporation (CEC). He’s been assigned the enviable task of locating a missing ship in the middle of outer space (nothing could go wrong with this plan, right?!). Surprise, surprise, Clarke soon ends up fighting for his survival against creatures known as Necromorphs that would give Stephen King nightmares.
