Yep, TrailerTime©, we’ve only just made up the name and it’s got two uses in one day. This time there’s a trailer for Punisher: No Mercy on VG247. It certainly looks fun – if the game is as fun as the video makes it seem it could well be a winner. Legs getting shot off, [...]

Droplitz has been released on the US PSN store today. Yes, that’s something released onto PSN on a Monday. We’re shocked too.
What we’re not shocked about, though, is that it hasn’t made it’s way onto the EU PSN yet, so it looks like we’ve got a wait ahead of us – at least until Thursday, [...]

Well, it’s TrailerTime©, and this time it’s the next Harry Potter installment for you over on Youtube. There’s very little (if any) gameplay in there, but it certainly looks like in-game graphics, and the characters look like their counterparts, though the animation doesn’t look too great in places.
Looks to be general Harry Potter game fayre, [...]

inFAMOUS is going to get a Home space, says the official US PS blog. There are no other details, but there will be next week. Go through the link to see some random figures concerning the game, such as how many cans of Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi Sucker Punch consumed during it’s development time, [...]

You might’ve seen reports of PS3 firmware 3.0 details floating around the internet. These reports said that the firmware will release before Christmas and was a ‘huge overhaul’ to the XMB, comparing it to 306’s NXE in that respect.
The updates promised for the firmware were a reputation system, a griefing reporting system, simultaneous sound output [...]

As many of you probably already know by now, the king of pop, Michael Jackson, passed away this evening after suffering cardiac arrest. It’s a loss of the music industry, and the world, that will be felt for years.
We offer this small dedication to a wonderful artist, courtesy of LittleBigPlanet.

The official site for Agent has gone live. There’s nothing there, just the logo, ‘coming soon’ and the usual logos, but you might want to keep your eye on it. Elsewhere in Agentland, you can go read what Ben Feder said about the game here.
Yes, I am padding this post. Today is a slow news [...]

Well, it’s better than last week’s update, but not by that much. Still, Zuma has finally been released, though at a rather high price of £6.99, of course, and Super Stardust HD has been put on sale (£1.59) for a week for both of the people who are yet to buy it. The PSP gets [...]

Yeah, they’re pretty vague statements, but Take-Two’s Ben Feder has said to Eurogamer that Agent, Rockstar’s mysterious PS3 exclusive based around espionage in the 1970s, is going to ‘fresh’, ‘worth waiting for’ and a ‘completely different’ is many ways.
Ben Feder: It’s a completely different storyline, there is completely different character development. It’s a game about [...]

Rockstar have released the first screenshots for Max Payne 3 – you can see them on the official site. It looks like Uncharted with a large, generic-looking bald guy for a main character. It doesn’t look like Max Payne at all. We can’t say we’re encouraged by this.
However, it is Rockstar, so we’re holding on [...]

As we guessed yesterday, firmware 2.80 for your shiny black box released today. It ‘improves the playback quality’ of some games. We don’t know what games, we don’t know if does anything else, but it didn’t move the damn clock. Still, firmware is only ever beneficial, so we’re happy for it. Ish.

The GTbyCITROEN, which was a concept supercar in GT5 Prologue, has been brought to life. It’s been driven around central London to generate hype for the game’s release later this year (probably), and TSA have images.
Two of those images are screenshots from GT5. It’s pretty easy to tell which, that sky is way too perfect, [...]

This post on the EU PS forums by one Mark Bowles (no, we don’t know if he bowls, stop making your own jokes), who is apparently the PS3 Brand Manager, says that Sony are going to release a firmware update ’soon’. We’re betting on tomorrow, to be honest.
However, in one of those wonderful treats Sony [...]
