Interesting article from Next Generation suggests that Sony might be going head to head with Xbox live with their next-gen console PS3.

Pacific Crest Securities analyst Even Wilson predicts that around 1 million Playstation 3 units will be shipped in Japan this summer followed by U.S launch in November. He still believes that 1 million will not be enough to satisfy the consumers demand.
