Site Staff

Welcome to the staff directory for PS3Vault.com. Each writer is listed by position with a small paragraph about their background.

Site Admin / Owner:

David Smith (LeoFerus). Dave has been literally playing video games since Pong. A mild-mannered computer programmer by day, he becomes a so-so threat on the PSN at night with the ID LeoFerus, preferring first-person shooters and racing games. Dave lives in the San Francisco Bay area.

Editors:

Craig Reynolds (csreynolds) : Craig is Bid Coordinator for a global ICT solutions provider, and a passionate PS3 gamer. When he’s not hard at work trying to secure lucrative business opportunities, he likes to spend his time punishing players on Tekken 6, ruling roads on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and waging wars on Battlefield: Bad Company 2, all from the comfort of his home in Cambridgeshire, England. He may not get to write as often as he'd like nowadays, but when he does it's well worth a read (don't tell him we said that!).

Robert Strick (ClearConscious) : Robert was exposed to games at a young age and fell in love with the instant classics, starting with Doom and gravitating later to the original PlayStation, where he enjoyed titles such as Tenchu, Final Fantasy VII, Parasite Eve and many others. He also has a real soft spot for the Baldur's Gate series. Robert currently resides in Oregon and is studying Multimedia Design, and has set up both a Justin.tv channel and a YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure.

Writers:

Iain (Anti-Flame): Iain and gaming go together like the words “Street” and “Fighter”, and he’s has been playing hard since the days of the SNES. When he’s not studying, he enjoys spending the time pwning n00bs on first-person shooters and revisiting games with incredible storylines – the likes of Metal Gear Solid, Shadow of the Colossus and the Final Fantasy series being amongst his favourites. Iain resides near London, England and is currently at university, the know-it-all…

Trevor Stock (Clarick01) : Trevor first picked up a controller 16 years ago with Super Mario and hasn’t looked back since. Living on a diet of Top Ramen (and longing looks at the meals of his pet cat Jasper), he’s attending college where he’s studying Digital Multimedia Communication. His favorite games are the Metal Gear Solid and God of War series.

Trenten Chalmers (Raines_of_Oynx):  Trenten became interested in games during the PS2 era and carries fond memories of the Kingdom Hearts and .Hack series. Trenten currently works full time at a local retail store, is a proud father and splits his time between as many consoles and handhelds as possible. He also can't help but like the Uncharted series.

Michael Proestos (MDPTheGreek): Michael will be the first to challenge you to a match at Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and shortly after make you challenge your manhood. Michael is a passionate hardcore gamer and high school student. Michael currently resides in the state of California.

Brett Phipps (Phippo90): Brett has been playing videogames since the ripe old age of three (I know, late bloomer) when his uncle sat him down in front of Super Mario 3 and he hasn't looked back since. He is such a devotee of the art that he's not embarrassed to admit he's even played Shaq-Fu (we're a bit embarrassed for him though). Brett has a degree in English Language and Communication and hails from the great city of London.
