Need for Speed: Out of the Law concept art leaked

Need for Speed Out of The Law

Almost everyone must know by now that Criterion Games, the developer responsible for gracing our PS3's with legendary arcade street racer Burnout Paradise, is working alongside Electronic Arts to create the next instalment in the longstanding Need for Speed series - rumoured to be titled NFS: Out of the Law.

Today, the Guildford-based design team tweeted that they would be presenting their efforts thus far at an internal EA meeting, but you can get a glimpse of their work right now; some early concept art samples from the project have already been leaked.

Because we've yet to receive a response from Criterion confirming the legitimacy of these stunning images, we cannot guarantee these are 'the real deal', but we know you'll want a peak anyway. "Put the pedal to the metal", so to speak, and race over to the Neogaf forums!

@ infamosSinister:
What part of the information is fake? CG ARE working on the new NFS, they DID meet with EA (see the tweet) - all that's left to be fake is the title (which is rumoured) or the pictures, not the information. If you know something we don't, then explain.

I would like to go on record to state that this information is fake.

I might actually look forward to this NFS. It reminds me of underground, even Carbon, and imo those were the last good NFS titles the newer ones did not live up the the NFS name
