Infinity Ward's highly acclaimed (and thoroughly excellent) Call of Duty 4 has just passed the nine million mark in sales since launching in November. No really - nine million. If you take into account the length of time it has been on shelves that is a pretty serious return on investment.

In other news, the newest COD4 map pack has apparently been downloaded over a million times in nine days. Alas, those downloads are for a certain Redmond-based company's console. But we won't go into that. We PS3 fans must bide our time a little bit longer.
