The Mortal Kombat games aren’t known for cutesy fighting fun but gory combos, brutal finishing moves and stomach-churning Fatalities. You won’t be surprised to know then that Mortal Kombat 9, being developed by NetherRealm Studios, is going to be an M-rated bloodbath.

Epic Games has kindly put together a lengthy developer walkthrough video presented by Senior Designer Cliff Bleszinski (a.k.a. ‘Cliffy B’), which introduces gamers to their upcoming first-person shooter Bulletstorm. Master hacker George Hotz has, as promised, managed to develop working custom firmware for the PlayStation 3 to restore ‘Install Other OS’, the feature Firmware Update 3.21 stole so ruthlessly from our console’s XMB last Thursday in order to improve system security and stability.
