The recent outbreak of ‘Mapathy’, a condition specific to members of the Modern Warfare 2 community defined as “a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months”, has prompted Infinity Ward to disclose information regarding a long-awaited map pack.

People continue to ask me why I, a Modern Warfare 2 veteran, am choosing to abandon all I know and convert to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 when it launches on March 5th (aside from the fact it’s an excellent title, of course). In light of today’s post, perhaps their relentless probing will cease.

Personally, we’re not fans of Braid, but we’re certain that many of you are, so you’ll be happy with this bit of news. USK, the German ratings board, has rated Braid, the previously 360/PC exclusive platformer, for PS3. You can see a screenshot at NeoGAF.

Contrary to recent rumours 2k Boston, the team behind 360’s pride Bioshock, are looking for PS3 developers.
For the tools programmer position it says, “UE3, PS3 and production experience using Python or Ruby will be highly regarded,” while for the Senior Console Programmer position it says, “Experience with PS3 development is highly desirable.”
