Batman: Arkham Asylum Will Get a Downloadable Demo

Batman Arkham Asylum Banner

Update: The notification that was on the official forum has been removed now, but you can still read what it said after the break.

If you've been wondering why you haven't heard anything about a demo for the upcoming and great looking Batman: Arkham Asylum, you can stop wondering. The official forums for the game have a notice that assures us that there will be a demo release at some point. It doesn't give any details, other than the demo being available for PS3, 360 and PC, so we have no date, yet.

They say they're going to announce the date for the demo's release in the first half of July. We'll keep you updated - when we know, you'll know. By which we mean we'll update the site and tell you, not through some kind of strange symbiotic link, or anything else weird. You can see our impressions on the Challenge Room demo found in shops here. You can read the notice confirming the downloadable demo after the break. Read more »

EA have announced that they will be distributing the games based on the Wheel of Time series of books by Robert Jordan. The games will be developed by Red Eagle for PC and consoles.

The Wheel of Time is a superb, epic series of 12 very large books that features magic, fighting and an evil guy. They're brilliant, so let's hope the games will do them justice.
