Rumor: Is Uncharted 3 heading for Egypt?

According to a source close with Kotaku, our beloved hero Nathan Drake may be heading to a desert locale.

They didn't elaborate on which country it may be taking place in, however if there's sand it would be safe to bet on Egypt as the main location.

Kotaku isn't excatly the most trustworthy source, however it's worth mentioning considering fans and media alike have pointed toward Egypt or Atlantis.

Sony unveiling new PS3 exclusive December 12th

According to Joystiq, Sony is set to unveil a brand new PS3 exclusive on December 12th. It's strange that Sony would hold an event for a single game, but to their credit they didn't specify whether it was a new game or not.

Could it be an addition to the PlayStation Network like Google TV?

Uncharted 2 was also  revealed during this time in 2008 and as big as Uncharted 3 will no doubt be; it may justify its own conference. There's also the possibility of a brand new IP such as the rumored Starhawk or a re-branding of the Syphon Filter series.

Feature: Two Steps from Hell is a wasted opportunity

I'm not going to sugar-coat it, I really enjoy Two Steps from Hell. I enjoy them so much in fact, that I would love to see them score a video game. Two Steps from Hell has been featured in some of the best trailers in recent years, however not one company has fully utilized them to their potential. This seems like a no-brainer to me, and seeing as their music seemingly covers every tangible emotion to mankind; I'm shocked no one has had them score their game.

We’re hardly likely to recoil in shock if Naughty Dog comes forward with an announcement regarding a third Uncharted title sometime in the future. Uncharted 2’s critical acclaim was such that the developer would be stupid not to build on its successes and keep the Tomb Raider-topping franchise alive. But what will it entail?
