Prince of Persia HD Trilogy Coming to US PlayStation Network

According to 1UP and a 2010-2011 Ubisoft financial report, the Prince of Persia HD Trilogy will be arriving on the US PlayStation Store. Our friends overseas will also be receiving the same treatment.

The trilogy will include Prince of Persia:  The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. There's no word on a disc-based release for the trilogy in the states.

Personally, I’m a massive fan of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. I love its retro yet oddly contemporary 2D visuals, its simple but deep combat mechanics, its bizarre plot, and that infectious 8bit soundtrack composed by chiptune punk band Anamanaguchi. It was a great buy, and just when I was beginning to think I couldn’t get enough of this button-bashing beat 'em up my contact at Ubisoft – who, incidentally, is more than aware of my fondness for this digital title – informs me that DLC is on the way.

Amazon France Lists Splinter Cell Trilogy for PS3

There's a rumor going around that Ubisoft have joined Sony in re-releasing Playstation 2 compilations on the Playstation 3. The website Amazon France is listing a Splinter Cell Trilogy, and a Prince of Persia Trilogy  for a November 2nd release.

I would imagine it to be something similar to the God of War Collection where the original PS2 releases of the classic Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia titles are all brought into spectaular High Definition with trophies to boot. We have no further details on the matter apart from that it's been listen on Amazon France for EUR 39.95
