Gametrailers To Unveil Surprise Sony Sequel

In the unlikely event that you have been unsatisfied with the fantastic line-up of exclusive games so far, we have some good news. This Thursday Gametrailers will be unveiling another PS3 exclusive title and it's also a sequel. Several games immeditely come to mind. Killzone 3, inFAMOUS 2, MotorStorm 3, Socom 4, Ape Escape, Sly Cooper, or perhaps Syphon Filter 5. One thing is for sure, I will be eagerly awaiting this announcement. What do you want to see? Thursday's PlayStation Store Update Said to be Massive

It’s fair to say that last week’s PlayStation Store update was pretty substantial. Yet, according to PlayStation Lifestyle, this week’s is said to be even bigger.

Why? Well, as per SCEE PlayStation Store team member Mike Kebby, Thursday’s update will add a lot of PSP-specific content to compliment the launch of Sony’s new PSP Go hand-held device, including Gran Turismo PSP and the long-awaited PSP Minis catalogue.

But don’t worry; Sony hasn’t forgotten about the PlayStation 3. A selection of fresh dynamic themes will be available - accompanied by a few new demos and DLC packages we imagine, and the EU will at last get the chance to ‘kick shell’ in Ubisoft’s TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled.

Resistance 2 to Get Multiple PSN Logins Via Patch

Resistance 2 players are going to get a few presents this Thursday, but excuse us for wrecking the surprise, with the help of TSA. First off, there will be the Aftermath Map Pack, featuring, you guessed it, some maps, and some new characters skins. However, there is something a great deal more interesting coming, too, and it takes the form of a patch.

The patch will enable two players to both log into their own Playstation Network account on one PS3, enabling them to level-up their online profiles next to each other on the couch. This hasn't previously been implemented because it was not possible without a firmware update. This seems to imply that there will be a firmware update before Thursday, though we can not be certain, we can sure as hell hope. Cross your fingers, children. Read more »

Euro Killzone 2 Demo Thursday!

Super-quick post as I'm in work folks, but I just heard the Killzone 2 demo is out this Thursday and knew I MUST share it with you good people.

What?  You want more?  Greedy...ok, so we have 2 of the early levels - the beachhead and the warehouse area, and there's a tutorial too.  Get downloading people, you never know, you may not actually like it after all, and there'll be a glut of cancelled pre-orders across the world....unlikely methinks.
