Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars Gets an Update

SARPBC Banner Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars

One of PSN's most entertaining games, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars (which we loved) has got itself all patched up with some new content and fixes. We'll start at the bottom and work our way up - first, the servers have been improved, which should decrease lag in online matches, not that we've really had a problem with it anyway. Second, every car has got two new skins - which is 14 new skins and 4 skins per car altogether.

The biggest addition, however, is the following; two brand new maps for your car-based rocket-powered footballing pleasure; the Galleon and the Stadium. Yes, the Galleon is exactly what you think - it's set on a pirate ship. Do football pitches get any better than that? Not since Red Card on the PS2 and it's underwater stadium (which, in career, was played against a team of dolphins) have we had such a great place to play football.

The patch brings the game to version 1.01 and is certainly going to extend it's lifespan for us. We love the game, but with four stadiums to play on before it did get a little same-y. Now we've got two new ones to try out. Great stuff.
