There's a rumor going around that Ubisoft have joined Sony in re-releasing Playstation 2 compilations on the Playstation 3. The website Amazon France is listing a Splinter Cell Trilogy, and a Prince of Persia Trilogy  for a November 2nd release.

I would imagine it to be something similar to the God of War Collection where the original PS2 releases of the classic Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia titles are all brought into spectaular High Definition with trophies to boot. We have no further details on the matter apart from that it's been listen on Amazon France for EUR 39.95
