It's Thursday, and time for the EU store update. Ross McGrath writes "Howdy everyone and welcome to your 10th ‘Heads-Up’ of the 2010. How the weeks fly by! Once again I’m standing in for Mike while he’s away working hard so it falls to me to deliver the gaming goodness.

For your PS3 this week, we’ve got Capcom’s sublime Mega Man 10 in all his 8-bit glory – retro gaming at its finest (and most challenging).

With all the Resident Evil 5 DLC recently, maybe you’ve been thinking about picking up a copy for yourself, so we’ve dug out the Resident Evil 5 demo from the archive for a limited time for you to have another go and help make up your minds. For those of you who own the game and have been holding out on grabbing the new levels, hold out no more as we’ve got the Untold Stories bundle, collecting both of the new missions and both costume packs in one convenient package.

If you're looking forward to some 256-player warfare but haven't managed to secure a MAG beta code yet and live in the EU, you might be in lucky. But only might. The EU PS site is giving them away in a competition - just login to the site with your PSN ID and click the correct button.

They're only giving away 16,000, so you'd better get over there sharpish. After you've done it you can only hope, cross your fingers and chant some good luck charms. The beta will run for 6 hours per day mon-fri - from 5pm til 8pm and 12am (midnight) til 3am. Yes, this is a proper beta, so there will be bugs and glitches around. These will be fixed before the game's full release, of course, and the beta is how they are found.

If you missed out on the God of War series so far, you should be happy to hear that you'll get a chance to play through them this holiday season in glorious HD. That's right people, both God of War games will be available on a single Blu-Ray disk at 1280 x 720 resolution. But that's not all folks, the games will now feature trophy support, which means that you will be all the more rewarded for decapitating and brutalizing the minions of the Greek God's. Complaints about the EU's lack of a PS Blog have been rife with despair ever since the US Blog proved so useful and awesome, so Sony had to pay attention at some point, really. Well, they are now - ThreeSpeech will close down on the 17th to be replaced with an official EU PSN Blog, making, I'm sure, many people happy.
