Love Fat Princess, but hate the buggy online mode? Well worry no more, because the 1.02 patch is out now and it will fix all your problems. well, at least all your problems in the game. The patch is available in the US and should be rolled out to the EU next week sometime, so that's just bad luck if you're English. Red Faction Guerrilla has been patched (or definitely will be very soon), introducing some new stuff (including new modes for Wrecking Crew and the 4 maps that were pre-order specific being opened for everyone) which you can read after the break. There's also some tweaks, such as preparation for upcoming DLC, draws no longer counting as losses online, and other stuff that you can also read after the break.

As well as the bastion of brick breaking bits (oh yes, alliteration), the weekend for Red Faction Guerrilla started as soon as that patch went live, and this extended weekend is a Double XP weekend. It ends at midnight Sunday night (technically Monday morning) PST time - that's 4 days of doubling your XP that you have to go and cash in on. I, personally, will be there on Saturday night, sledgehammering you through a wall. I hope to see you out there.

If you've bought Fat Princess (and you should have), you've probably noticed the online issues. A large chunk of users have been experiencing lag, whilst another large chunk just haven't even been able to connect to any online games. Frustrating, of course, but help is at hand - Titan Studios are working on a patch to fix the problems.

The lag fix is already in testing, whilst they're working with Sony to get the connection issues fix into testing as soon as possible. All you have to do is wait.

Whilst you're waiting, you can play single player - it's good practice and has some witty introductions to the story levels, or you could practice your fighting in Gladiate mode. It is, at times, possible to get around the connection issues - you can try connecting to a game via the Play With Friends option, which may work. It's a bit hit and miss, but there's nothing else we can do until the patch. Or you could wait for our review, which will go live later today. You're really spoilt for choice.

Prototype is brilliant. It really is, I've been playing it so hard over the last couple of days that I've actually finished it already (don't worry about that, I played it for 8 hours just on the day I got it), and I'm going to actually play through it again, which is a treatment reserved for the most stellar of games.

So, if you've been looking to get in on the visceral and gory action, you'll be happy to know that Prototype has actually been patched. We forgot to mention it earlier because, well, we were busy running up the side of buildings. You have no need to worry anymore, so long as you're connected to the internet you should have no problems.
